Sussex Innovation Centre

Sussex Innovation is a business incubator for purpose-led entrepreneurs, start-ups and scale-ups, owned by the University of Sussex. Its members are ambitious companies who are innovators in their field – solving important problems in new ways. Since its foundation in 1996, it has provided businesses with strategic insight to encourage growth, creative inspiration to test new ideas, and practical resources to deliver sustainable impact.

We recognise that working with so many new and growing businesses every day puts Sussex Innovation in a very influential position, and that we have a responsibility to influence positive change in the world. Our team are committed to building a truly inclusive workplace and supporting local start-ups who want to do the same, but we also recognise that we’re not experts. That’s why it’s hugely important to us that we learn from members of our community who are leading this conversation and help to amplify their voices, and why we’re proud to be sponsoring this conference.
